About the book >.>.> Making images is an age-old human activity an activity that in one way or another many of us enjoy from childhood to old age. I certainly have! Over the years this enthusiasm has led to me being invited to give workshops all over the world; these range from small groups of local enthusiasts and textile guilds to large international quilt fairs. The aim of this book is to take you through my personal working methods just as if you were attending one of these events. So I’ve provided step- by-step guidance and I hope that following this will give you complete confidence to explore similar working methods and to develop your own individual voice’. The book is divided into two main sections: first Finding your Voice shows you how to find inspiration and then Making it Work shows you how to put your ideas into practice. Finally Step by Step Project is illustrated by a piece I’ve made especially for the purpose and will show every stage of construction from beginning to end.
