About the book >.>.> I first sat down to write this World War Two story for my children leaving out the romantic sections so as not to upset anybody in the family. But as I put pen to paper I found I had almost total recall as the pictures and even conversations came rolling back through my brain so vividly. They were mostly of happy times but now and again I was reduced to tears when something tragic came to mind. Then it was months before I felt the urge to write more. This story is about a motor-cycle racer; a healthy confident and cocky young man who found his right niche in the war and rode his way loving and laughing around a large part of the world.
