About the book >.>.> Publication of this book has been planned to coincide with the exhibition of Edrica Huws’s patchworks to be held at Oriel Ynys M?n Llangefni Anglesey from 18 August to 23 September 2007 in the year of her centenary. The book includes reproductions of most of the patchworks that will be on view these almost all drawn from collections in Britain – but also of some others besides mainly from col- lections in Japan. The book could never have come into being without the constant co-operation and practical help of my sister Catharine Nagashima; Val Shields has played an enthusi- astic role from the start; a very old friend Richard Hollis generously gave of his time to design the book; Ann Parry Owen cast a careful eye over the whole text and brought welcome refinement to the Welsh.
