The number of hides therein is unknown because they were not taxed in King Edward’s -time. There is arable land for 56 ploughs. In demesne there are seven ploughs and twenty servers and twelve coliberts 114 villans and 89 bordars and 49 ploughs. There are twelve mills which render six pounds and five shillings and 160 acres of meadow; the pasture is two leagues in length by one league in breadth and the wood is four leagues in length by one league in breadth. This manor with its appendages yields the enter- tainment (of the King) for one night. (SP)
