About the book >.>.> In collaborative processes beginnings and endings are important. And so it is with the Collaborative Arts Partnership Programme (CAPP). CAPP has its beginnings in 2013 when Create initiated the European Learning Network (ELN) in partnership with Dublin City Council Arts Office Tate Liverpool (UK) Live Art Development Agency (UK) and m-cult (Finland). The ELN set out to explore the evolving professional development needs of collaborative artists with a view to responding on a European level. In 2014 we were joined by hablarenarte (Spain) Agora Collective (Germany) Kunsthalle Osnabr?ck (Germany) and Ludwig M?zeum (Hungary) and made a successful bid to the Creative Europe programme of the European Union’ establishing CAPP as a transEuropean network. In April 2015 as incoming Director of Create I joined my first CAPP partner meeting in Berlin. I remember very clearly thinking that this group of people seemed to have been working together much longer than five months. This was in no small part due to the initial planning done to create a robust partnership. (LL)
