About the book >.>.> This volume is dedicated to those at Tewkesbury Abbey and Merton College whom I have helped to prepare for and with whom I have been privileged to celebrate the sacraments of Christian initiation. I am grateful for the way in which they have contributed to my understanding of these rites as well as helping me to reflect on how they should be performed. I am also indebted to the Revd Dr Benjamin Gordon-Taylor Editorial Secretary of the Alcuin Club and to Philip Law at SPCK.
