About the book >.>.> Decisions in Philosophy of Religion had its inception in a method of teaching namely the involvement of students in every area of the prog-ress of the course. Convinced that the questions raised in Philosophy of Religion will stimulate interest research and the profitable discussion of the many answers available I compiled a discussion guide including each major issue which would prompt full personal investigation as well as class discussion. It was an immediate success and is included as the Ap-pendix in this work – amended by several years of student criticism and suggestion. An inevitable consequence of the method however was the need for a textbook which would provide the necessary background and support for the methodology. Decisions in Philosophy of Religion is the answer. This work is unusual in several ways. First it does involve student participation at every level of the development of the course. The content is organized to confront the student with multiple answers and the dis-cussion guide can be used to give full attention to them all. Second it does not provide the answer to any question calling for decision. Rather it does furnish the answers offered by many different thinkers with the ultimate decision reserved for the student himself. (SP)
