About the book >.>.> This book has its origins in a Master’s Dissertation a TV programme and a conference. The first was written by Michael under Peter’s supervision; the second was made by Available Light for HTV and featured Peter along with Keith Dockray; the third was organised by Keith Stenner for the Richard III Society and included contributions from Peter Anton Bantock and Christopher Scott. All three projects had the Berkeleys and Nibley Green as their subject and all three came at around the same time. There seemed to be sufficient scope and interest in the battle of Nibley Green to justify doing something more ambitious and this book is the result. Michael’s dissertation has provided the foundation with additional material and archival research by Peter who wrote Chapters 1 to 4 with Chapter 5 written by Michael. Unless otherwise stated Michael took all of the photographs. (LL)
