Many names have been given to this prayer but the most common are Divine Office and Liturgy of the Hours. Significance and importance of the Liturgy of the Hours in the life of the Servants In the Servite Order this prayer of praise and inter-cession has always been held in the greatest honor and it cannot be any less for us today. Celebrating the Liturgy of the Hours our com-munities are not only united as one but they also join themselves to those innumerable voices of adoration and praise supplication and thanksgiving with which the Church the choir of blessed and the cosmos itself resound.
