These instructions are so clearly presented that they can be followed without difficulty even by the least experienced worker whether child or adult. There are patterns for making a Mouse a Hedgehog a Snake a Tortoise an Owl a Lizard and a Dragon. The delightful Oozle and the Broccoli Bird are of the author’s own invention. Also included in the book are instructions and ideas for glove and finger puppets to represent a Girl a Boy a Lion a Tiger a Penguin a Skeleton a Bear a Clown and an Indian Girl. The author gives additional ideas for further experiment. All the puppets and animals shown here are best made in felt although other material can be used satisfactorily. None of these toys is extravagant with materials and the scraps of felt left over after making two or three toys can be used for the decoration of other toys. (LL)
