About the book >.>.> This isn’t the first time that Panzerwrecks has visited the wrecks in Yugoslavia Bill and I covered them in Panzerwrecks 2 and X but this volume is dedicated to the subject. Don’t expect to see Tigers Panthers and heavy Panzerj?gers they weren’t in theatre (except for a couple of Panthers that snuck in). Instead this book contains more than its fair share of captured vehicles and obscure conversions. And like the battle lines themselves the subjects creep from Yugoslavia into Austria and Italy. Not all of the images are as sharp or well exposed as I might like but these are often the only record of a corner of World War 2 so poorly documented in English. After all a less than perfect photo is better than no photo. (LL)
