About the book >.>.> At the time of his death Arthur Prior was intending to publish a collection of essays as a sequel to Papers on Time and Tense. P. T. Geach and A. J. P. Kenny have collected from among his published and unpublished works a score of papers which are worth preserving. Topics covered include existence and non- existence possibility and necessity self-reference and self-perception the nature of inference and of intentionality and the autonomy of ethics. All the essays display Prior’s unique gift for the applica- tion of modern logical insights and techniques to traditional ethical and metaphysical problems.
