About the book >.>.> THIS book tells the story of Seaforth Highlanders from the raising of the Regiment in 1778 until their amalgamation with The Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders in 1961. The accounts of the battles are for the most part written by Officers serving in the Regiment from their personal experiences at the time. The collection of this material and its linking into a continuous narrative has been undertaken by an Editor who spent over 25 years in the Regiment drawing liberally from the information of former Regimental Historians. All Ranks from Field Marshal to Private have their say but the viewpoint throughout is that of the Man in the Ranks of the Seaforth Highlanders. (SP)
