About the book >.>.> Since the initial publication of the German version in 2011-which coincided with the 150th anniversary of Rudolf Steiner’s birth-many positive reactions have been received including those from class members and class readers all over Europe. The taboo has now been broken with regard to these esoteric texts by Rudolf Steiner as something to be spread exclusively within the circle of the Anthroposophical Society. There is good reason for this. According to Anna Samweber a close associate of Rudolf Steiner in Berlin Marie Steiner made a significant remark to her; “In 1926 Marie Steiner told us the following during a conversation about the class lessons in Dornach: ‘Doctor Steiner told me that when the class lessons lead to sectarian behavior and pretensions of power they will have to be published like all of my other lectures.””” Since the German edition was published a significant discovery was made. In the Kolisko Archive in England a stenographer’s notebook was discovered that contains the stenographic notes of two recapitulation les-sons by Rudolf Steiner that have never before been published. These notes were taken by Lily Kolisko and written down in the Gabelsberger steno-graphic writing system. After an extensive search someone was found who is familiar with this stenographic system which enabled a transcrip-tion of the material. These previously unknown recapitulation lessons. (SP)
